Voice of the Child Reports

We provide independent Section 32 reports under the Guardian of infants act(as amended), ensuring that each child’s authentic voice is meaningfully represented within the Irish legal system.

Our assessments are conducted with sensitivity and impartiality. We deliver clear, evidence-based guidance to the courts while prioritising the child’s emotional wellbeing, safety, and developmental needs above all else.

Through a child-centred approach we provide reports that upholds the rights and best interests of every child.

Supervised Visitation

Our supervised access service provides a neutral, structured setting in which children can maintain meaningful relationships with their families. Contact is facilitated with professional oversight to safeguard the child’s welfare and to ensure that arrangements are implemented in a safe, consistent, and child-centred manner.

Grounded in the best interests of the child principle, our approach prioritises emotional safety, stability, and respect for all parties, supporting contact that is positive, constructive, and developmentally appropriate.

What are Voice of the child reports?

At Insight Family Services, we provide Voice of the Child Reports to support family law proceedings. These reports, sometimes referred to as Section 32(1)(b) or Section 27 Reports, ensure that a child’s views are heard in a safe and age-appropriate way.

The court may request a report having regard to the child’s age and maturity, the issues in dispute, any previous reports, and the overall best interests of the child.

We meet with each child in a supportive, child-centred environment to help them express their views freely and without pressure. Where appropriate, these views are then presented to the court in a clear and professional report.

All work at Insight Family Services is guided by the best interests of the child, ensuring their voice is heard without placing responsibility on them.
